Who is paying for this event?
The conference is part-funded by the Department for Education, with generous support also coming from a number of sponsors.
What are surgery sessions?
A surgery session is a bespoke session for advice from our expert partners who will be running small surgeries on key issues of academy governance and board development. Topics will include governance structures and systems, board recruitment and development and working with the executive. There will also be ‘trust growth and development surgeries’ for trusts going through critical growth points.
Surgery sessions are likely to last around 30 minutes, these sessions offer delegates uninterrupted time to ask questions and have a discussion with experts on a particular subject matter.
This year surgery sessions form part of the main programme and will take place in the afternoon alongside larger workshop sessions.
Surgery sessions and workshops will be booked on a first-come basis through the delegate registration website. Details of available surgeries how to register will be sent to delegates at a later date.
